Cantonese Community

Mandarin Community

We had an exciting Update Evening on the 21 February, where Mandarin Community development plans were shared, and 7 small groups were expounded upon: 1) Discipleship, 2) Teaching, 3) Prayer and Intercession, 4) Worship, 5) Campus and Family and Marketplace, 6) Creativity, and 7) Hospitality.

We hope that attendees enjoyed the small group setting, and had fruitful discussions on the goals, structure, and practicalities of each group. We hope that both attendees and those who were unable to make it that night will be able to join future group meetings.

We welcome anyone to join group meetings according to your interests (you may join more than one group!), or simply to meet with friends. We look forward to continuing the conversations during the meetings listed below:

     1. Discipleship: Thu, 28 Feb, 7 – 9pm, 1/F Function Rm 3 & 4

  • To explore the key essence of a thriving spiritual community, and a leader’s role in it.
  • To form a framework for the structure and training of small group leaders.
  • 28th Feb Run-Down:
    1) Worship, 2) Devotion: Psalm 133, 3) Small Group Discussion: Community Dynamics in Chinese Culture, and 4) Prayer.
  1. Teaching: Mon, 4 Mar, 7 – 9pm, 2/F Auditorium foyer
  • To consolidate devotion materials for the weekly Mandarin Community meetings.
  • To identify specific themes and contents of forthcoming teaching elements for the TWO tracts – Community Building and Outreach.
  • To plan discussion materials for each of the above meetings.
  • To develop network of human resources and identify material resources for teaching.
  • 4th Mar Run-Down:
    1) Worship, 2) Devotion: Acts 2:43-47, 3) Teaching Elements: “Early Christian Community: Historical Significance and Contemporary Expression”, 4) Testimonies and Small Group Discussion, and 5) Prayer.

  • To gather to pray, discern, and intercede.
  • To hear for God’s heart and plan for Mandarin speakers in Hong Kong.
  • To engage with each other to build a praying community.

  • To worship together.
  • To develop a team to plan practical and creative worship expressions.
  1. Campus, Family, Marketplace: Thu, 14 Mar, 7 – 9pm, 1/F Function Rm 3 & 4
  • To develop a team to pray, plan, and implement outreach programs.
  • To organise activities exploring HK and HK culture (eg. hiking, photo tour etc).
  • To provide groups (eg. Young Professionals, Newlyweds, New Parents) with courses (eg. Dating, Marriage, Parenting etc).
  1. Creativity: Mon, 18 Mar, 7 – 9pm, 2/F Auditorium foyer
  • To meet people with the gift of creativity.
  • To brainstorm and implement creative expressions as part of community life.
  1. Hospitality: Thu, 21 Mar, 7 – 9pm, 1/F Function Rm 3 & 4
  • To develop a framework allowing for the delivery of care and acceptance in MM.
  • To initiate action streams of welcoming people.

Kidz 4 Christ provides an exciting and engaging programme for ages 2-12 years old.

Mainly Music:

Mainly music is our weekly music and movement programme for parents and their babies/preschoolers.

Every Friday from 10am – 11:30am at The Vine Centre Mini Hall.

Flight is a vibrant and active youth ministry for young people between 13 and 18 years old that meets on Fridays at 6:30pm (Mini Hall)  and Sundays during the 11am service (1/F Kitchen Lounge) to eat, play games, worship, and hear the Word of God together.


Oneighty is a passionate community of young adults from 18-30 who gather together to share life and grow in Christ.
